What is the Emergency Stop button for?

On most of our DC Fast chargers, there is a red emergency stop button. We do not recommend pushing this to stop the charge unless there is an emergency.

Please note, if you do use the Emergency Stop button, be sure to follow the instructions on the charger screen to reset. Failing to reset may render the charger useless for the next driver until the reset is complete.

If you have just arrived at the station and there is a message on the charger screen that refers to the Emergency Stop button being pressed, follow the charger screen's steps to reset.

Resetting the emergency stop is easy; twist clockwise (to the right) until the button pops out.
