At this time, EVgo accepts some forms of virtual payment at select stations. If Apple Pay or Google Pay are not available, you must use the payment method in your EVgo account or the credit card reader at the charging location.
Virtual Payment Information
While many credit card readers accept tapped payments, virtual payments may not always go through. If an authorization fee appears on your statement, it should be removed within 3-5 business days.
If a pre-authorization hold posts to your account, contact the EVgo Charging Crew as soon as possible and they will assist you with billing disputes within 30 days of the transaction.
