You can add up to four members to your main EVgo account. After a Member is added to your EVgo account, you can request an RFID Program Card or assign them a vehicle profile. Learn more about Members in your EVgo account, or scroll or select an available quick link for more information.
Inviting Members to your account on the mobile app
- From the landing page, tap the menu icon (☰) in the top left
- Select Members from the menu panel
- Tap (+) Add Member in yellow
- If there are no current Members in your account, you'll see Add Member at the bottom of the screen
- If there is one or more Member already in your account, look for the (+) in the top right
- From the Add Member screen, enter the first and last name of the Member
- Confirm whether you'd like to provide the Member with their own EVgo account login
- When everything looks good, tap Add Member
Should you invite a Member to create their own account?
Members of your account can also create their own Member account in the EVgo app if you invite them to do so. They'll receive an email from support@evgo.com asking them to verify and create their own EVgo Member account login.
Tip from the EVgo Charging Crew:
While you can still request an RFID card and track transactions of a Member without their own account, we recommend inviting your account Members to create a Member account. Member accounts allow users to have a vehicle profile, search the EVgo map, start a charge from the EVgo app, and make contacting the EVgo Charging Crew much easier. Inviting Members on the web (account.evgo.com)
- From the landing page, hover over the Profile drop-down
- Select Members
- If you click Profile, you can then click Members from the left-hand navigation panel
- Click Add Members from the top of the navigation panel on the left
- From the Add Member screen, enter the name, email, and mobile number of the Member
- Click +Create Member to finish adding the person to your account
