Request an RFID program card

You may need an RFID program card for any number of reasons. Your card may be lost or damaged, or you may want to request a card on behalf of Members in your EVgo account. (Alongside their Member account, providing your account members with their own RFID Program Card can be very handy to keep them moving!) Whatever the reason, you can:

 

Before requesting a new RFID program card, please review and confirm the mailing address in your EVgo account. We receive thousands of returned RFID program cards, and we want to make sure you receive your RFID program card as soon as possible!

When replacing an RFID program card:

  1. If you are replacing an RFID program card, we highly recommend that you suspend or deactivate a lost or stolen card. Learn more in our article: Suspend or deactivate an RFID Program Card
  2. After you have ordered your RFID program card, you'll receive an email notification that the card is on the way. Your new card will arrive in about 10-14 business days. 
 

Every EVgo membership includes three (3) free RFID program cards. You will be subject to a $10 replacement card fee if you need additional cards. If you do not want to pay this fee, you can always use the EVgo app to initiate charging sessions!

 

 

Request an RFID Program Card in the EVgo app - New Account Holders

  1. From the landing page, tap the menu icon () in the top left
  2. Select Payment and Billing within the menu panel
  3. Select RFID Program Cards
  4. Select Order Card
  5. Select Order New Card
  6. Select the (+) Add Card icon on the top right of the Program Cards screen
  7. Review your mailing address and update if needed
  8. Tap Order New Card to place the order

  1. From the landing page, tap the menu icon () in the top left

  4. Select the (+) Add Card icon on the top right of the Program Cards screen

  6. Tap Order New Card to place the order
