Forgot your password, or are you ready for a change? No worries - you can use the EVgo mobile app to reset your password. Scroll or select an available quick link for more information.
Reminder that all EVgo passwords must contain:
- Minimum of 8 characters (and maximum of 20)
- At least one UPPERCASE letter
- At least one lowercase letter
- At least one (1) Number
- At least one special character (!, @ ,# ...)
Password reset from the EVgo app login screen
- Select Log In from the landing page of the mobile app
- Tap Reset Password below the fields for login credentials
- Enter the email tied to your EVgo account and click Reset
- The EVgo app will confirm if it has recognized your email; when successful, you'll see a pop-up to confirm a password reset email was sent to your inbox
- Check your email for a message from support@evgo.com titled "Reset your Password"
- Select or copy and paste the password reset link from the email
- Enter and confirm your new password
- Your must provide a new password that you've never used before, and it must contain all of our password requirements.
- Click Reset Password to confirm your new password
- When successful, you'll be taken back to the sign in page to log into your account with your new password
- Reopen the EVgo mobile app to log into your account with your new password
Password reset from your EVgo app profile
- Tap the menu icon (☰) at the top left of your screen in the EVgo app
- Select Profile within the Main Menu panel
- Select Password within the Account Settings menu at the bottom of the profile screen
- Enter your Current Password
- Enter your New Password
- Your must provide a new password that you've never used before, and it must contain all of our password requirements.
- Tap Save to change your password
